For many sports game fans, one of the most exciting reveals of the year is the official NBA 2K24 ratings. Each year these carefully calculated numbers cause plenty of discussion in the NBA 2K community and also among the stars of the NBA themselves.
With the official NBA 2K24 ratings now starting to be revealed, we have the full list of top players so far. Additionally, you can find some of our ratings predictions for teams in general. NBA 2K24 is going to shake things up and you should be very scared of the Wembanyama meta in NBA 2K24, but which other players are going to tear up the court this year? Here are the rankings ahead of the NBA 2K24 release date.
NBA 2K24 ratings
The NBA 2K24 ratings so far are:
- Nikola Jokić – 98
- A’ja Wilson – 98
- Giannis Antetokunpo – 96
- LeBron James – 96
- Joel Embiid – 96
- Kevin Durant – 96
- Stephen Curry – 96
- Jayson Tatum – 95
- Jimmy Butler – 95
- Luka Doncic – 95
- Devin Booker – 94
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – 93
- Donovan Mitchell – 92
- Sabrina Ionescu – 90
- Jaylen Brown – 89
- De’aaron Fox – 88
- Jamal Murray – 88
- Victor Wembanyama – 84
As you can see the top players have been ranked for this year and Nikola Jokić comes in the top spot with a whopping 98 overall. Between now and the release we will be getting even more ratings for other players.
Overall, the rankings so far are as you would have expected with strong rankings for LeBron, Stephen Curry, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, and the rest of the top players.
Nikola Jokić
Jokic comes out as the top athlete in this year’s game with a strong 98 score. His run on the Denver Nuggets is almost a decade long and after a great season, he is set to dominate 2K24. Expect to see him a lot in MyTeam and when playing against others.
A’ja Wilson
Wilson is dominant in the WNBA and her rating reflects this. She tops the WNBA rankings this year after leading the Las Vegas Aces to victory in 2022 and continuing that run with a stunning 2023 season so far.
Giannis Antetokunpo
The mountain himself, Giannis comes in with a strong 96 this year. The Bucks’ superstar has dominated matches and pulled in strong games over and over again. Expect him to dominate matches online with a rating like this.
LeBron James
21 years into the game, LeBron is just as strong as he ever is. Coming in with a mighty 96 rating, he is going to be one to watch when playing in MyTeam. Now a core part of the Lakers squad for five years he has cemented himself as one of the best of all time.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid comes in also with a 96. The Philadelphia 76ers player has been in the NBA for almost 10 years and is now at the top of his game. Standing at 7 feet tall, he is a force to be reckoned with after what was a great season as a part of the Philadelphia squad.
Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant needs no introduction onto this list with a score of 96. Now a part of the Phoenix Suns, he is hopefully going to lead the squad to some solid wins and turn the squad into a top-ranking team after placing 4th in the Western Conference in the 2022-2023 season.
Stephen Curry
The three-point perfectionist himself Stephen Curry also comes in at 96. After an incredible season, the Golden State Warrior himself will be a force to be reckoned with on the court in matches, able to dominate from the three-point line.
Jayson Tatum
Jayson Tatum has spent his entire NBA career with the Celtics and that has made him one of the team’s top players currently, following on from greats like Larry Bird. At a 95, expect Tatum to be a strong small-forward player in matches and teams.
Jimmy Butler
Jimmy Butler is a strong Heat player in the current team and as such comes in with a solid 96 overall rating. The player has had a good season and in his fourth year with the Heat, he will be another great small forward to have on your squad this year.
Luka Doncic
Luka has been with the Mavericks since 2018 and as a point guard solidified himself as a leading player within the squad. Hailing from Slovenia, his 95 rating makes him a great choice for any squad in MyTeam and when playing competitively.
NBA 2K24 Atlanta Hawks ratings predictions
When it comes to the Atlanta Hawks, it feels like they’re yet to put the pieces together to really rally behind Trae Young and push themselves into the upper echelon of the NBA. A first-round playoff exit isn’t disastrous but the Hawks fanbase will be expecting more next season.
For now, we don’t see there being any major increases to the Hawks’ ratings and they’ll likely enter NBA 2K24 with similar – or slightly lower – ratings to how they did in 22/23.
- Trae Young – 89 (2K23 rating – 89)
- Dejounte Murray – 81 (2K23 rating – 84)
- De’Andre Hunter – 82 (2K23 rating – 80)
- Saddiq Bay – 79 (2K23 rating – 79)
- Clint Capela C – 82 (2K23 rating – 83)
NBA 2K24 Boston Celtics ratings
A team that could (and maybe should) have won it all last year, the Boston Celtics fell to a Cinderella Miami Heat team in the conference finals. There’s no way to know whether they would have beaten the Nuggets in the finals, had they got there, but it’s not too hard to believe the finals would have been a lot closer if they did.
Despite sending Marcus Smart to the Grizzlies, the Celtics NBA 2K24 ratings see a slight increase following a strong season.
- Derrick White – TBA (2K23 rating – 80)
- Jaylen Brown – 89
- Jayson Tatum – 95
- Kristaps Porzingis – TBA (2K23 rating – 87)
- Al Horford – TBA (2K23 rating – 80)
Brooklyn Nets ratings predictions
The Brooklyn Nets went from having the league well and truly scared to being a bit of a nothing team practically overnight. There is potential in this new lineup that could propel them to a comfortable playoff spot during the 23/24 season.
Young stars and not-yet-established veterans must work together to find a winning formula and it could prove more efficient than their attempts to buy a championship.
- Spencer Dinwiddie – 83 (2K23 rating – 83)
- Mikal Bridges – 89 (2K23 rating – 87)
- Cameron Johnson – 83 (2K23 rating – 80)
- Dorian Finney-Smith – 80 (2K23 rating – 77)
- Nicolas Claxton C – 85 (2K23 rating – 84)
Charlotte Hornets ratings predictions
We can’t help but want the Charlotte Hornets to figure things out and make this roster work. It hasn’t quite happened yet but the 23/24 season could be quite spectacular if the league underestimates their quality.
This potential is unlikely to be reflected in their ratings in NBA 2K24, but hopefully, come the end of the season the league will be on notice.
- LaMelo Ball – 88 (2K23 rating – 86)
- Terry Rozier – 82 (2K23 rating – 81)
- Brandon Miller – 82 (2K23 rating – Rookie)
- P.J Washington – 77 (2K23 rating – 77)
- Mark Williams – 78 (2K23 rating – 78)
Chicago Bulls ratings predictions
The news that Lonzo Ball will miss the 23/24 season does impact how the Chicago Bulls might perform overall but their fanbase will just be hoping it doesn’t trigger a complete reset with key players being traded away from the iconic franchise.
There will be decisions made over future talent and potentially even involvement in the future of Damian Lillard, but for now, here are my NBA 2K24 ratings predictions for the Bulls.
- Alex Caruso – 79 (2K23 rating – 76)
- Zach LaVine – 87 (2K23 rating – 87)
- DeMar DeRozan – 87 (2K23 rating – 87)
- Patrick Williams – 79 (2K23 rating – 77)
- Nikola Vucevic C – 84 (2K23 rating – 84)
Cleveland Cavaliers ratings
Cavs fans have plenty to be excited about heading into the new season but their lineup is far from complete in terms of being stacked off the bench, but they will still be a strong playoff team that will hopefully go further than they did last season.
While we don’t expect there to be many meaningful ratings changes, it’s more likely that the major alterations will actually be to their rotation.
- Darius Garland – 87 (2K23 rating – 87)
- Donovan Mitchell – 92
- Max Strus – 79 (2K23 rating – 76)
- Evan Mobley – 87 (2K23 rating – 86)
- Jarrett Allen – 82 (2K23 rating – 84)
Dallas Mavericks ratings
Let’s just call the Mavs exactly what they are: weird. There is no way that a franchise built around Luka Doncic should still be without a meaningful push for a title. Throw in the addition of Kyrie Irving and it should have been a lock, right? Nope, they missed playoffs entirely last season and need to fix that this year.
The loss of Christian Wood makes them weaker when Grant Williams is his replacement but overall, the Mavs still seem like a team struggling outside of its guards.
- Luka Doncic – 95
- Kyrie Irving – TBA (2K23 rating – 91)
- Tim Hardaway Jr. – TBA (2K23 rating – 78)
- Grant Williams – TBA (2K23 rating – 76)
- Dwight Powell – TBA (2K23 rating – 77)
Denver Nuggets ratings
Back-to-back NBA titles have never looked so likely since the reign of the Lakers back in the 2000s. 2K hasn’t pushed Jokic all the way to 99, but he is as close as you get. After a downseason on his stats, he still has an immense stranglehold in the league.
This Nuggets team is still incredibly strong and the NBA 2K24 ratings push them into clear contention for being the best team in the game.
- Jamal Murray – 88
- Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – TBA (2K23 rating – 77)
- Michael Porter Jr. – TBA (2K23 rating – 83)
- Aaron Gordon – TBA (2K23 rating – 83)
- Nikola Jokic – 98
Detroit Pistons ratings predictions
Detroit is a team we would like to see turn their fortunes around having been the worst team in the NBA last year, but we don’t think that this is the season it will happen. A couple of strong draft picks will take time to adjust to the league and ultimately there are just too many better teams around.
Always an underdog, the Pistons could prove people wrong with some standout performances, but over 82 games we doubt they have what it takes to make a playoff push.
- Cade Cunningham PG – 85 (2K23 rating – 84)
- Jaden Ivey – 81 (2K23 rating – 81)
- Ausar Thompson – 78 (2K23 rating – Rookie)
- Bojan Bogdanovic – 82 (2K23 rating – 82)
- James Wiseman – 80 (2K23 rating – 79)
Golden State Warriors ratings
A healthy Steph Curry alongside Chris Paul making what is surely his last good push for a title could create a very interesting story for this season. If the Warriors can stay fit, we have them as one of the top teams in the Western Conference.
The NBA 2K24 ratings for the Warriors suggests no massive improvements but beware of this team that can dismantle any opponent on its day.
- Chris Paul – TBA (2K23 rating – 87)
- Stephen Curry – 96
- Klay Thompson – TBA (2K23 rating – 86)
- Andrew Wiggins -TBA (2K23 rating – 83)
- Draymond Green – TBA (2K23 rating – 82)
Houston Rockets ratings predictions
It’s going to take everything in our power not to tank Dillon Brooks’ rating for acting a clown last season but he probably knows he messed up and being sent to Houston was punishment enough.
A bad season might not get much better this year despite their strengthening through free agency and the draft. They’ll have been contemplating the idea of a rebuild after their attempts at buying a ring in the late-2010’s have left effects that can still be felt today, but maybe this starting lineup can fight those thoughts off a little longer.
- Fred VanVleet – 83 (2K23 rating – 83)
- Jalen Green – 85 (2K23 rating – 84)
- Dillon Brooks – 77 (2K23 rating – 79)
- Jabari Smith Jr. – 79 (2K23 rating – 79)
- Alperen Segun – 83 (2K23 rating – 83)
Indiana Pacers ratings predictions
The Pacers are missing a true star player to complete their roster. It’s hard to see any realistic moves they could make to change this, so instead they need to rely on the draft and create a strong culture with the starting five they currently have.
If the Pacers can push for .500 this year then they’ve had a great season – our personal NBA 2K24 ratings predictions are more of the same though.
- Tyrese Haliburton – 89 (2K23 rating – 89)
- Benedict Matheurin – 80 (2K23 rating – 79)
- Buddy Hield – 81 (2K23 rating – 80)
- Jarace Walker – 77 (2K23 rating – Rookie)
- Miles Turner – 85 (2K23 rating – 85)
Los Angeles Clippers ratings predictions
Despite being in a division that is extremely strong, the Clippers project still feels like a failure given the talent they have and the apparent lack of hardware to show for it. With the moves being made around them, we think there is a realistic chance they struggle this year and would do very well to make the playoffs.
- Russell Westbrook – 82 (2K23 rating – 81)
- Paul George – 89 (2K23 rating – 89)
- Kawhi Leonard – 91 (2K23 rating – 92)
- Nicolas Batum – 74 (2K23 rating – 74)
- Ivica Zubac – 81 (2K23 rating – 81)
Los Angeles Lakers ratings
LeBron James will naturally be the talking point when it comes to the NBA 2K23 ratings for the Los Angeles Lakers. His decline might not necessarily be so obvious at a quick glance at some stats (with the exception of games played) but his overall effectiveness has certainly reduced. However, he is still one of the top-rated players.
- D’Angelo Russell – TBA (2K23 rating – 83)
- Austin Reeves – TBA (2K23 rating – 81)
- LeBron James – 96 (2K23 rating – 97)
- Jarred Vanderbilt – TBA (2K23 rating – 80)
- Anthony Davis – TBA (2K23 rating – 94)
Memphis Grizzlies ratings predictions
The less said about Ja Morant, the better. So, what effect will Marcus Smart have in Memphis? Well, while we don’t have a crystal ball to see the future, we do hope it’s a positive move and helps improve the franchise.
Then again, with their star player consistently crumbling under the spotlight, who knows what lies ahead for the Grizzlies this season?
- Marcus Smart – 83 (2K23 rating – 82)
- Desmond Bane – 85 (2K23 rating – 85)
- David Roddy – 73 (2K23 rating – 73)
- Jaren Jackson Jr. – 87 (2K23 rating – 87)
- Steven Adams – 81 (2K23 rating – 82)
Miami Heat ratings
With it looking increasingly likely that Miami has won the Damian Lillard sweepstakes, this team could be completely transformed come opening night. For now, we have to assume that Herro/Richardson is the way to go and that still looks like a very strong starting five for the Heat.
Some were surprised by their run last year, but we think they’re prime and ready to do it all again this season.
- Tyler Herro – TBA (2K23 rating – 84)
- Josh Richardson – TBA (2K23 rating – 75)
- Jimmy Butler – 95 (2K23 rating – 93)
- Kevin Love PF – TBA (2K23 rating – 76)
- Bam Adebayo – TBA (2K23 rating – 87)
Milwaukee Bucks ratings
It’s really hard to place the Buck this year and we feel that’s represented in the NBA 2K24 ratings for the starting five. A great team, no doubt, but there are lingering questions about the happiness of Giannis and what that does to this team in a worst-case scenario.
- Drue Holiday – TBA (2K23 rating – 88)
- Grayson Allen – TBA (2K23 rating – 75)
- Khris Middleton – TBA (2K23 rating – 86)
- Giannis Antetokounmpo- 96
- Brook Lopez – TBA (2K23 rating – 85)
Minnesota Timberwolves ratings predictions
When it comes to the Timberwolves, we can’t help but feel like they both underachieved and overachieved at the same time. It really is a franchise that just doesn’t register with us sometimes because we’re never quite sure whether they’re supposed to be any good.
Regardless of our issues with the Timberwolves, we predict a so-so year for them and it’s reflected in where their ratings predictions sit.
- Mike Conley – 80 (2K23 rating – 80)
- Anthony Edwards – 85 (2K23 rating – 86)
- Jaden McDaniels – 80 (2K23 rating – 79)
- Karl Anthony-Towns – 85 (2K23 rating – 86)
- Rudy Gobert – 83 (2K23 rating – 84)
New Orleans Pelicans ratings predictions
If Zion is fit and healthy, both mentally and physically, watch out. If not, the Pelicans might struggle to make an impact. Finishing just over .500 last year was a warning, they won’t get away with it again this time around.
The Zion hype needs to come good or else the league is at risk of losing another potential star through neglect.
- CJ McCollum – 84 (2K23 rating – 84)
- Brandon Ingram – 88 (2K23 rating – 87)
- Trey Murphy III – 81 (2K23 rating – 80)
- Zion Williamson – 89 (2K23 rating – 92)
- Jonas Valanciunas – 89 (2K23 rating – 83)
New York Knicks ratings predictions
The Knicks finally seemed to figure out how to be successful last season, right up until they came up against a far more experienced postseason Miami Heat lineup. Given time, this starting five can make special things happen even in a competitive league.
While we won’t be placing my money on the Knicks to win it all, they could find themselves playing spoiler if they make it to the playoffs once again.
- Jalen Brunson – 88 (2K23 rating – 87)
- Quentin Grimes – 79 (2K23 rating – 78)
- RJ Barrett SF- 85 (2K23 rating – 82)
- Julius Randle – 89 (2K23 rating – 87)
- Mitchell Robinson – 81 (2K23 rating – 80)
Oklahoma City Thunder ratings
With Chet Holmgren finally making his long-awaited debut, this Oklahoma team could be set for a complete revolution. A truly exciting team to watch, we expect the Thunder to surprise a lot of fans this season, despite their shortcomings last year.
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – 93
- Josh Giddey – TBA (2K23 rating – 84)
- Luguentz Dort – TBA (2K23 rating – 78)
- Jalen Williams – TBA (2K23 rating – 82)
- Chet Holmgren – TBA (2K23 rating – Rookie)
Orlando Magic ratings predictions
The Magic have reasons to be excited, but none to believe they’ll magically turn into a playoff contender this year. They are one of many franchises simply looking to improve their record and make smaller steps towards a bigger goal.
Creep closer to .500 and Magic fans can be happy, but these fairly low expectations also make their NBA 2K24 ratings harder to predict.
- Markelle Fultz – 82 (2K23 rating – 82)
- Gary Harris – 75 (2K23 rating – 75)
- Franz Wagner – 85 (2K23 rating – 84)
- Paolo Banchero – 85 (2K23 rating – 84)
- Wendell Carter Jr. – 82 (2K23 rating – 82)
Philadelphia 76ers ratings
The 76ers have been the butt of a few jokes in recent years but ultimately they’ve come out of the other side relatively unscathed. Now it’s time for them to put in the work towards another strong regular season and see the playoffs through to the end and give themselves a true shot at a title run.
- James Harden – TBA (2K23 rating – 90)
- Tyrese Maxey – TBA (2K23 rating – 84)
- Tobias Harris – TBA (2K23 rating – 81)
- P.J Tucker – TBA (2K23 rating – 75)
- Joel Embiid – 96 (2K23 rating – 97)
Phoenix Suns ratings
Well, it’s pretty clear that the Phoenix Suns want to win a championship this year and it may be a case of win it all this year or go bust. The addition of Bradley Beal could be a stroke of genius if it works, but if there’s no title at the end of the tunnel, then they’re stuck with one of basketball’s worst contracts and too many stars on one roster.
- Bradley Beal – TBA (2K23 rating – 87)
- Devin Booker – 94 (2K23 rating – 92)
- Josh Okogie – TBA (2K23 rating – 78)
- Kevin Durant – 96 (2K23 rating – 96)
- Deandre Ayton – TBA (2K23 rating – 84)
Portland Trail Blazers ratings predictions
Damian Lillard will not be a Portland player come the start of the season, this much appears to be clear, but unless a team pays the price, he’s going nowhere just yet. It’s this season’s most intriguing storyline given how many fortunes his moves could change.
The Trail Blazers will almost certainly be a worse team once he leaves and we expect them to struggle for a few seasons when he departs.
- Damian Lillard – 94 (2K23 rating – 95)
- Anfernee Simons – 83 (2K23 rating – 83)
- Shaedon Sharpe – 79 (2K23 rating – 78)
- Jerami Grant – 80 (2K23 rating – 82)
- Jusuf Nerkic – 80 (2K23 rating – 82)
Sacramento Kings ratings
Another year of stability could bring something truly special out of this Kings lineup. Are they title-ready on paper? No, but don’t count this team out at all. Hold onto their stars and continue to nurture talent through the draft and it won’t be long until a title in Sacramento seems a lot less unrealistic.
- De’Aaron Fox – 88
- Kevin Heurter – TBA (2K23 rating – 81)
- Harrison Barnes – TBA (2K23 rating – 79)
- Keegan Murray – TBA (2K23 rating – 79)
- Domantas Sabonis – TBA (2K23 rating – 89)
San Antonio Spurs ratings
Victor Wembanyama’s rating for NBA 2K24 is here? Prior to the announcement this was a big question gives there was the reveal of an early pre-order Free Agent MyTeam card, which was rated 90 overall. The Spurs have also locked down coach Popovic to another deal so the future could be very bright in San Antonio.
We expect that the success of the team will revolve around Wembanyama but the focus that opposing teams place on the Frenchman might open up opportunities for his teammates, who already made some great strides in their stats last season.
- Tre Jones – TBA (2K23 rating – 79)
- Devin Vassell – TBA (2K23 rating – 81)
- Keldon Johnson – TBA (2K23 rating – 83)
- Jeremy Sochan – TBA (2K23 rating – 78)
- Victor Wembanyama – 84
Toronto Raptors ratings predictions
We feel like we’re being harsh on the Raptors to predict no meaningful changes to their ratings but after a .500 season, it can be really difficult to figure out if a team is going to improve or regress.
I’m placing my bets on the Raptors improving but we also feel like they haven’t finished doing business and could improve some key positions before the season begins. For now, here are the NBA 2K24 ratings predictions for Toronto.
- Dennis Schroder – 77 (2K23 rating – 77)
- O.G Anunoby – 83 (2K23 rating – 82)
- Scottie Barnes – 83 (2K23 rating – 83)
- Pascal Siakam – 88 (2K23 rating – 87)
- Jakob Poeltl – 80 (2K23 rating – 81)
Utah Jazz ratings predictions
Lauri Markkanen has the makings of a star player but is he ready to carry a franchise? It’s a question we might be able to answer after this season as he’ll be charged with bringing through three first-round draft picks and a team of journeymen and players who have yet to live up to their potential.
We would back the Jazz to show bright sparks throughout the season but ultimately still fall short of the playoffs.
- Collin Sexton – 81 (2K23 rating – 81)
- Jordan Clarkson – 82 (2K23 rating – 82)
- Lauri Markkanen – 88 (2K23 rating – 86)
- John Collins – 79 (2K23 rating – 80)
- Walker Kessler – 84 (2K23 rating – 83)
Washington Wizards ratings predictions
Where do we even start with the Washington Wizards. After years of building up hope that usually vanishes well before the halfway point of the season, and now having also traded Bradley Beal, can they actually push on and achieve something this season?
Chances are, there is a good reason to be excited about this Wizards lineup, but like with many teams this season, their NBA 2K24 ratings predictions probably won’t reflect this promise.
- Tyus Jones – 82 (2K23 rating – 80)
- Jordan Poole – 85 (2K23 rating – 84)
- Bilal Coulibaly – 80 (2K23 rating – Rookie)
- Kyle Kuzma – 85 (2K23 rating – 83)
- Daniel Trafford – 78 (2K23 rating – 77)
Las Vegas Aces ratings
Wilson is one of the top players in this year’s game and the Aces are one of the top teams out there in the WNBA. The strength of the team in the 2022 season led them to win the WNBA championship that year and this season they have been even stronger, losing the least amount of games out of every team in the WNBA so far.
- A’ja Wilson – 98
New York Liberty ratings
Coming seventh in the 21/22 season, and now at the top of the standings for the 22/23 season, the New York Liberty will be one of the strongest WNBA teams this year. Expect them to be the go-to for players looking for WNBA players.
- Sabrina Ionescu – 90
And so that completes our comprehensive list for this year’s NBA 2K24 ratings. Hopefully, we’ll be blessed with some generous NBA 2K24 Locker Codes fairly early on that will help in chasing some of these top players. Until those all-important ratings drop for everyone, why not check out what the deal is with NBA 2K24 crossplay this year and see what’s new in NBA 2K24 MyTeam – that new salary cap mode sounds intriguing.
