Celeste is an indie-darling that has now finally made its way onto Game Pass so even more people can enjoy it. In Celeste, you will help Madeline battle her inner demons as she journeys to the top of Celeste Mountain, full of mystery and platforming puzzles.

A Short Hike – August 3

Like Celeste, A Short Hike is a similarly beloved indie game in which you journey to the top of a mountain. However, with a unique style and more relaxed tone, A Short Hike is an incredibly relaxing and evocative experience. As you hike up the mountain, you will meet other animal hikers, discover treasure, and simply take in the world around you.

It’s a gem you don’t want to miss out on, especially now that it’s one of the Xbox Game Pass August 2023 games.

Everspace 2 – August 15

Everspace 2 is a fast-paced single-player space shooter that puts you in the pilot seat of a spaceship. With a plenty of brutal challenges and space encounters, as well as an intriguing narrative in the war-torn star systems of the Demilitarized Zone of Cluster 34, it’s an enthralling experience for sure.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre – August 18

Get behind the chainsaw or run from it when The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game finally arrives in August. As a day one release for subscribers, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is an asymmetrical horror game, tasking players with either finding the tools and escaping the Slaughter Family, or becoming a member of the family and hunting down their victims.

We’ll be certainly gearing us as the legendary Leatherface once The Texas Chainsaw Massacre release date rolls around. It could even be one of the best Xbox horror games.
