Call of Duty MW3 pre-orders

Call of Duty MW3 pre-orders are expected to be available following the reveal of the game on Thursday, August 17, 2023, which will take place within Warzone. Following previous releases, like Modern Warfare 2, we expect there to be two editions to purchase.

While MW3 has been officially revealed by Activision in a short and cryptic teaser trailer, the official showcase event is scheduled for the middle of August. Here, Activision will reveal the gameplay details of the game and pre-orders should go live shortly after. Check out our guide to the MW3 reveal event for more information.

Once they are live, however, we’ll update this guide with exactly where to pre-order MW3 and all the bonuses you’ll get for doing so.

Call of Duty MW3 editions speculation

The Call of Duty MW3 editions are yet to be revealed, though we can expect both a Standard and a Deluxe/Premium edition of the game, as was the case with recent entries in the series.

  • MW3 Standard edition ($69.99) – also known as the cross-gen bundle, this should include both a past-generation and current-generation version of the game.
  • MW3 Deluxe/Premium edition ($99.99) – this will likely grant additional digital bonuses, such as cosmetics and the first Battle Pass.

Following the trend of recent releases in the series, especially MW2, it would be highly-surprising if Activision shifted from this established pre-order and edition offering.

Most importantly, pre-ordering MW3 2023 is expected to grant access to the MW3 beta which, according to leaks, is taking place in early October, 2023 for all systems. Additionally, it will likely also grant early access to the MW3 campaign mode ahead of the full release. Check out our MW3 early access guide to learn more.

After all, this release schedule has worked wonders for Activision in the past, encouraging more players to pre-order the latest entry to get in early. As such, it’s more than likely to be repeated for MW3 pre-orders, granting not only digital items for purchasing the game ahead of release, but also opportunities to play parts of the game ahead of launch.

And that covers everything there is to know about Call of Duty MW3 pre-orders right now, including when they are expected to go live, potential editions and bonuses. Most of all, we’re excited to get a glimpse at all the MW3 modes which are featuring, as Activision has come up with some creative new modes as of late, as well as how MW3 Spec Ops can be developed.
