We know the Ivanov ST-70 Grip might seem like an odd choice, but the improved flinch resistence is nothing to laugh about – it really does come in handy when you’re in mid-range gunfights. When you couple this with the KSTV-RPK Factory stock, you’re going to find that you’re well-equipped to tackle enemies further away than you might first think.
However, this is a balanced build and that means it needs to be nifty in a tight spot. By equipping the FSS OLE-V Laser, you’re going to be increasing this weapon’s sprint to fire speed and aim down sight speed, which should only improve it’s capabilities in close quarters combat. When you couple this with the Schlager Tango underbarrel attachment, you’re going to find you have improved hip fire accuracy and better recoil steadiness.
Interestingly, Klay doesn’t equip an optic attachment. But, there’s a free slot so you can pick and choose whichever one you think is best for this build. Or, you could even add an extended magazine to it – however, this will limit your movement speed and mobility a little more.

We know you may want to opt for Fast Hands, but the X13 Auto is a fantastic sidearm to swap to in a tight spot and shouldn’t be ignored when the benefits of Cold Blooded are right there. If you’re unaware, this perk is going to keep you from being spotted by any and all devices and attachments – so it’s useful to have.
Following on from this, you really want to equip Ghost as your ultimate perk. This is essentially going to add killstreaks to the list of things that won’t spot you anymore. So, UAVs aren’t going to be a problem for you any longer – well, they will be until you earn access to this perk later in a match.
Adding to this, you’re going to want to opt for a classic equipment combo of Semtex for your lethals and Stun Grenades for your tacticals. They always get the job done and Modern Warfare 2 isn’t changing that. We also recommend Dead Silence as the Field Upgrade you opt for. We know it’s been nerfed a little in this Call of Duty game, but it’s still an excellent tool for pushing – something which this Kastov 545 excels at.
